Cooperation hackathon bringing together participants from the arts, design and technologies
HackCité is a multifaceted event resulting from a multidisciplinary artistic approach to leave a digital legacy to the city for the city of Montreal for its 375th anniversary. The Pixsenses team wanted to offer a work that reflects the creative diversity of the city and crystallizes the collective memory in a living symbiosis between arts, technologies and design.
This is a Cooperation Hackathon bringing together a maximum of 60 participants from artistic fields mentioned above. This unique genre hackathon is organized by Printemps numérique, Pixsenses, Project A144, Desjardins Lab and Montreal NewTech, in collaboration with Pixsenses, Chromatic Pro, La Boîte interactive and Dix2.
9 projects were selected and each participant, whose project is selected, was invited to make a short presentation to Chromatic-Pro. The winning team in each category is supported in the final production of the work by three partner companies (Pixsenses, La Boîte Interactive and Dix2).
