MTL Connect 2021

MTL Connect 2021 is an event organized by the Printemps Numérique on the digital processing and allows several international exhibitors and speakers to get together. The 2021 edition took place from October 12 to 17.

As part of the third edition of MTL Connecte: Montreal Digital Week took place in a hybrid way. For the face-to-face part of the event, Pixsenses had the honor of contributing to the visual aspect by designing adapted projections and reactive audio projections.

La event opening night took place in two stages Society for Arts and Technology. The first part took place at the Satosphere and consisted of immersive performances. Then, the second part took place in the SAT space and consisted of audiovisual performances by artists. During this evening, Pixsenses had the chance to accompany some of these artists by adding audio-reactive projections.

The rest of the event took place in downtown Montreal and NAD school. Pisxenses was responsible for installing the PixBooth. This is a photobooth that allows visitors to take pictures in the form of animated gifs. The team took care of the visual aspect of the event and conceptualized immersive experiences through projections, interactive experiences, and lighting.

Pixsenses also participated in the event as an exhibitor and presented the services and products offered by the company, including augmented reality experiences and the Xplore learning products. It was also possible for the participants to walk through the VirtualZone.
