MTL Connect 2021 is an event organized by Digital Spring focusing on digital transformation, bringing together numerous international exhibitors and speakers. The 2021 edition took place from October 12 to 17.
As part of the third edition of MTL Connect: Montreal Digital Week, the event took place in a hybrid format. For the in-person component of the event, Pixsenses had the honor of contributing to the visual aspect by designing adapted projections and audio-reactive projections.
The opening night of the event took place in two parts at the Société des arts technologiques. The first part occurred at the Satosphere and consisted of immersive performances. Then, the second part took place in the SAT space and involved audiovisual performances by artists. During this evening, Pixsenses had the opportunity to accompany some of these artists by adding audio-reactive projections.
The rest of the event took place in downtown Montreal and at the NAD School. Pixsenses was responsible for the installation of the PixBooth, a photobooth that allows visitors to take photos in the form of animated gifs. The team handled the visual aspect of the event and conceptualized immersive experiences through projections, interactive experiences, and lighting.
Pixsenses also participated in the event as an exhibitor, showcasing the services and products offered by the company, including augmented reality experiences and its learning products Xplore. Participants could also explore the Virtual Zone.
