As a functional analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of end users and translating those requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for the development team. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions that meet business needs.
What sets you apart
- University degree in computer science or software engineering
- Considerable experience as a functional analyst or in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and requirements management tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
What you will do
- Gather, analyze, and document end user requirements
- Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure understanding of requirements and deliver solutions that meet them
- Participate in the design and execution of user acceptance tests
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
